We watched Django Unchained last night on Netflix, a excellent spaghetti western style movie. Also there is a great cast who play their parts well, and a good soundtrack to.

Goes for nearly 180 minutes so get a stock of munchies and beer on hand.

I would have put a wikipedia link in but it contains spoilers.

Django is a very good movie. I enjoyed that one very much, although it was quite bloody.

My son has gotten into WWII recently, so he recommended Red Tails about the Tuskegee Airmen. We watched that one last week. If you enjoy history, I can highly recommend it.

Most of WW 2 movies we have watched have been old ones.

Fury is a good new one. https://www.netflix.com/title/70305907
Stalingrad is worth a watch as it has a plurry good story line. https://www.netflix.com/title/70299617
Enemy at The Gate is a great watch as well. https://www.netflix.com/title/60004450

There are several about the navy seals we have watched but I cannot remember their names. set in Raggedstan type countries.

We also watched a South Korean special forces movie set during the UN police action in the 1950's https://www.netflix.com/title/80116307

They are removing How I Met Your Mother on November 15th and it's moving to a Netflix competitor.

My background noise for the past 5 years is gone :(
I had a look at that show when it was on fta television, did not do much for me at the time.

I see Netflix have lost all of the Disney stuff as well. :arghh:

I will make a note of the names of any more war movies we watch and get the links for you.

Not only that, but Star Wars is gone because Disney now owns the rights.
It would have been good to catch up with a few of the earlier ones.

Oz Netflix must be different. Not a one of the movies you have recommended are available here. Trying Amazon video.

Found Fury, but it's not Prime
Same with Stalingrad
Same with Enemy at the Gates
So, we are watching The Battle for Sevastopol
