Solved where to download Linux?

Hi again...

Would anyone be interested in pointing me to a good site to download Linux Puppy from? I guess according to CD... Slacko is the one I should use...

The community that I am part of is sponsoring a refugee family of 7... And I have a few older computers that I would like to give to these New Canadians... Before I do that I would like put a puppy Distro on them...

And another question is how does one determine the specs of a computer using Linux Mint 3 ?
